FILM : Scripting

We made sure we kept best to our script as possible. This was one the first thing we done before anything otherwise they would be no story to follow.

Introduction
Establishing shot of house, to show location. CUT to close up shot of younger brother watching TV and then camera zooms out as he watches TV and laughs while talking to himself. CUT to the back of the younger brothers head as he watches TV.

Scene 1

CUT to older brother walking into the house. When he enters the house as he walks through the corridor there is dialogue between the older and younger brother. Camera CUTS to low angle medium Long shot of older brother leaning on the wall and the younger brother sitting on the couch. There is then dialogue between them. Medium shot of older brother leaving the room to go to the dining room and sitting at the table, two medium shots from different angles showing older brother taking out sheets from his bag and looking at his exam Timetable there is then a camera CUT right in front of him then a frame shot from one of the square shapes of the dining table chairs. Then the camera CUTS to a POV shot of the exam timetable he highlights then another CUT back to a medium shot of him taking off his jacket leaving it on the chair then going upstairs there is also a medium CUT shot of him walking towards the camera to go upstairs.

Scene 2

Another Establishing shot of the house in the evening to show that time has passed. then a CUT to younger brother standing up from couch to go to the kitchen as he goes passed the dining table he sees his older brothers exam timetable there is a medium CUT shot of him looking at the exam timetable then a CUT to a close up shot of the exam timetable in his hands and a shot of him smirking as he looks at it. He goes into the kitchen and gets something to eat as he gets his food ready the camera CUTS to the older brother upstairs busy tidying up his room for a while, then the camera CUTS back to the younger brother this time eating his food. Camera CUTS to older brother clearing up his shoes. Camera CUTS to younger brother standing up from the dining table and going to the kitchen to put his plate away.



Scene 3 and 4

CUT older brother leaves his room to go to kitchen he meets his younger brother at the bottom of the stairs MS of dialogue between brothers. MS shot of Older brother walking off into the kitchen looking for something to eat. CUT shot
Shot of younger brother going to the kitchen to turn up the central Heating (scenario) then the camera CUTS to a Shot of Older brother having trouble sleeping and rolling on his bed not being able to sleep. Then the camera CUTS outside of the bedroom and shows him coming out and going down the stairs. A few more scenario shots, tidying up of shoes and house cleaning.

Scene 4 to start, older brother finally goes to bed. His alarm clock set. His all ready to to to exam. Shooting of younger brother talking to teacher. Brother has missed exam; shot of him waking up. This is the last scene of the film.
