MAGAZINE : Analysing design & language conventions of magazine reviews

I researched through the internet before making my film poster and came up with the below which intrested me and my group and helped in the making our film magazine.
Having studied film magazines this year, it is apparent that certain forms and conventions need to be applied.
The film magazine review below that we looked at showed that the main image of the poster was the making of the film rather than an image in the film. We however went with the image within the film as we though it makes more sense showing the reader a little clip about the film and discussing it in little detail to urge the reade to go on and see the film. We however liked the fact that sometimes it is good to challenge other media coventionswhich was done by thr makers of "I AM LEGEND," as shown in the picture below.
