FILM : Researching into the target audience

Our task was to produce Film approximately five minutes long. And in those 5 minutes using a large variety of camera angles, to make our film interesting and to make sure our shots align with our ideas. The other necessities we had to take in account were the
•Working Title
•Audience
How old they are, whether they are predominately going to be male or female, the lifestyle of the audience, and the social demographic of the audience.
•Broadcast space Where are film is most likely to be distributed e.g youtube, myspace, facebook.
•Genre,is our film going to be a drama, comedy, romantic comedy?
•Plot : This is very important, as it is the storyline of the film.
•Pitch

For our short film, we came up with a pitch that was influenced by other short films we researched. Knowing that our film was going to be dramatic, we knew that are tareget audience were going to be in an age range of 12 - 16. The gender would most likely have been predominantly female due to the fact that our main acters were male and the ladies would have loved to watch them. Target audience was relly important in the making of our film.
